Scrap Teacher (CN, ENG, JAP Subs) ~ Incomplete (Forum didn't update the rest and it's closed now.)

Hi all, my Scrap Teacher uploads will only be updated in this post. So you might like to favourite this because I doubt I will be posting at communities for each episode upload. This is NOT SUBBED by me but by the kind chinese fans over at Ryosuke Yamada Forum with the help of English native fans. The poster attached is the subbing team's members name etc. I will pin this up so it will appear as my second post after my Semi-Friends Post so that it's easier for you to access.

Please take note before downloading:

1) You need a VLC (Videolan) Player to watch the clip. Choose the subtitles at the Player's Tab: Video>Subtitles.
Edit: aisyateru pointed out that the video is playable on GOM Player as well. =)
Edit 2:  sakura_yuki1017  commented that it works on KM Player as well.
Edit 3: Media Player Classic works for me!
Edit 5: A note for Mac OS X users:
VLC will most likely not work. I used QuickTime and the mkv files work just like hardsubs. You simply might have to let it load for a moment.
Just in case, download Perian (a plugin). Then simply open the mkv file in QuickTime, it should work. Feel free to ask me questions! ~ miyukiss  (me: Thanks!!)

Edit 6: "The easiest way i know how to extract subtitles from any format is with a program called virtualdubmod. After opening the program click "Streams" Then from there "Stream list". Then lastly you select the subtitles you want and click "Demux" and save them wherever you want. Edit 8: I see that there's still a lot of people who can't play Episode 3 and I thought maybe I should help you out a little. For two hours last night, I tried playing Epsiode 3 using various players (VLC player, GOM player & Media Player Classic) but failed. In the end, I downloaded KM player and tried playing Episode 3 and it works. All three subtitles works on KM player too. To change subtitles: 1. Play the file. 2. Press "Tools" -> "Playback Controls" (the triangle button) -> "ETC" -> "Languages" -> choose one ("und[chinese]"/"und[japanese]"/"und[english]") Hope I helped. :D Thanks again for sharing the files! :] ~ lilyween (me: thanks~~~)

Edit 10: and for vlc player, i was able to watch episode 1 & 2 using the older version of vlc player...

for episode 3, i think there's a problem with its audio so i tried downloading KM Player and i was able to watch it with the subtitle and audio... ~ obierquino (me: thanks a lot!!!)

Edit 11: Since the softsubs ASS are already being posted, I guess if you can't watch the subs with this video format, go download the raw file and watch them. =) This is the best way for everyone~

2) Media Player Classic can show all the 3 languages (at least for me). Any other help will be appreciated. =D

3) I can only post 5 days after the release of the subbed clip so please don't ask me when is the new episode uploaded, I will upload when I finished downloading them as soon as possible. LOL

And lol even if I do get to that level, I won't recommand everyone who ask me to, I will only recommand those that I know will follow their rules and such. =)


P.S  I do have a life to go through, I won't be 100% free the whole day just to upload for you. Don't expect things to be always going in your way. I even have to stop any downloading to speed up the uploading now.

First of all, thank you and the fansubbers for this. I was worried that this drama would not be getting subbed and while I understand enough Japanese to be able to get the gist of what was going on I always miss things, some that of course can be important later in the story. So it's great to have English subtitles to help me with that.

I've just watched the second episode and figured I should leave feedback about the subtitles as you've asked. Overall I found them very understandable. I spotted a couple of misspellings but it's rare to find a fansub without any of those and it was still easy to tell what words they were meant to be.

Honestly the only quibbles I have with the subtitles are grammatical and should be easy to fix. It is mainly the fact that a lot of sentences do not end with periods to show that they have ended and some do not begin with a capitalized letter, which can be a bit confusing when those are put together one after another as it looks like it's a continuing line even though the lines belong to two different characters. And one little minor more is that after commas there are no spaces given, which really isn't a big thing but I know for me it distracted me as I read the subtitles as I couldn't help but note the mistake every time it showed up.

But like I said before overall I found the English subtitles perfectly fine to understand even with those grammatical mistakes, which should be easy enough to fix I would think.

Again thank you for uploading this for us, especially with all the spam for questions that you already answered in your post. You seriously have the patience of a saint for not just yanking the links already. And of course a thank you again to the subbers as well whose hard work lets us have the subtitles in the first place.

I just finsihed watching both episode(eng sub).
Anyway, episode 1 has small gaps of places without subs, about one sentence each time for like 4 or 5 times throughout.
Episode 2 has lesser though about 1~2 times. However, episode 2 had typos.
Both episodes didn't start a new character talk on a new line. It looks like "blah blah -blah" Quite easy to understand if you know at least a bit of japanese, not that confusing.

The subs was accurate, according to my less then 25% of japanese knowledge.

Overall, its understandable, pretty good actually for despo fans.

Oh, I used VLC player on Mac OS X to play the first episode and it work well. I tried to play the video with each subtitle and they work just fine.

When I tried to play it using QuickTime + Perian, it worked better than VLC but only english subtitle showed up and I didn't find other subtitle (chinese and japanese onee) in the subtitle list, but it did look like hardsub :D.

My episode 2 of scrap teacher is working perfectly but the first episode, when I try to join the files, it becomes a .rar file and not .mkv I'll try downloading them again though. Thanks again ^_^

hmm you need to join the 7 parts with a HJ Split, then extract the file out (right click>extract) then play with the media players mentioned in the notes.. =)

i found a way to extract the sub from mkv files.

when i use all those players that you have mentioned,it doesn't work for me.
so,i follow this method and this really works~

PS.I saw this from a forum.

For those who have the same problem like me,
here's the ass files.
Put it in the same folder with the video and the sub will display when you play the video.
If there's still no sub,you can choose "load subtitles" from your player.
Make sure the name of the ass file is same with the name of the video.
