I went to your journal and I think your layout is great except, I want a heading banner with Kinki kids on it. 2 columns only is fine with me, and I want a white background, cos I am a minimalist. :P
The thing is, even if you make me a layout with all the codes and stuff, I still wont know how to use it cos I dont know where to input it and stuff. I am hopeless like this.

I really hope you can help me, and this may be a test of your patience. So I apologize in advance if I prove too dumb for you. XD.

I'm replying this to both of you. I am glad to help you guys learn something. ^^

this is what I did~
go to your customize page.
and if you're using S1, switch to S2.
after you click "Select a different theme," type "Flexible Squares" in the theme search box.
there are 18 kinds of Flexible Squares theme. choose one and click "Apply theme."

for the banner, you can pick ANY PICTURE you want. but it's best if the width is 760px. (the height doesn't really matter.) so now, go find a banner!
you can find some pics for your background as well. (it can be gif image like my sakura petals or jeg image.)

and for the codes, don't worry about that. I'll help you to that point as well. hehehe..

Ok, I changed my layout to a flexible square one already.

So I have chosen my banner picture too from this http://cfs11.tistory.com/image/27/tistory/2009/01/24/00/36/4979e40066609, so I have to reupload it somewhere right?

now go to customize page again.
click "Custom CSS" on the left. change "Use layout's stylesheet(s)" to Yes.
then paste all these codes to the "Custom stylesheet" box there.

umm I'm sorry, I don't think I can because it's default from the original theme.. hehe.. how about picking the "Icy Blue"? I think it's more minimalized. =p
